Created from a childhood fav, every fall/winter my mom had this recipe on rotation. She would make it with pork ribs but the men in my house are not huge fans of meat on bones so I recreated this with pork tenderloin. You can almost always find a two pack of tenderloin strips on sale so this is not only delicious but a great meal on a budget!
Ingredients:
2 strips of pork tenderloin chopped into bite sized pieces
2 large red onions chopped small
2 cups of ketchup
2 cups of water
1tsp salt
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
4 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp paprika
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350•f
Mix all the ingredients well.

Place into 9×12 inch roasting dish
Cover with tin foil and cook for 1 1/2 hours
Stir and cook for 30 more minutes uncovered to brown.
Serve over rice! Enjoy
This recipe along will all my favs continue to be added for over 14 years to this site and I love to share them with you ❤️. Who else still has a physical recipe book/journal? Here is actual recipe (halved) that I wrote in my book over 20 years ago. yes it’s messy and maybe some would think it’s gross but all I see are cherished memories of past in the mess of creating memories today around the table ❤️
